Salary: c£35,000 pa

We are now looking to recruit a Broker Development Manager to work within our Product Development Department. Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will liaise with brokers to build and control relationships, maintaining close day to day contact to ensure they are fully aware of our products and the type of application which is likely to result in a quality
Key responsibilities will be:
• Develop and maintain broker relationships against business objectives
• Resolve broker/customer issues
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with all key internal functions Be fully aware of competition trends/moves within the Credit Broker market and keep Senior Managers appraised of any impact on business decision making
• Ensure quality of business passed by brokers are of the required quality and standard which are needed to meet business objectives
• Responsible for interrogation of MI to understand data quality and understand reasons for applications being rejected or accepted and communicating this information to the broker supplying the application
• • Develop new opportunities as appropriate
The candidate will have:
• A proven history of managing 3rd party relationships
• Substantial experience working with credit brokers
• Ability to build relationships quickly
• Ability to work effectively in a team and on own initiative
• Ability able to negotiate. Hold excellent problem solving, planning and organisational skills
• Good IT skills
• A clean driving licence and be prepared to travel
